Residential & Day Treatment Counselors
Southern Oregon Child Study & Treatment Center has current openings for B.A. level Counselors to work with children and youth with emotional and behavior problems. These positions are in our Residential Treatment and Psychiatric Day Treatment programs located in Jackson County and involve extensive training and supervision in milieu therapy, group counseling and related skills. Counselors are members of a multi-disciplinary treatment team and provide direct services for children or youth in group settings. B.A. or B.S. and experience with children or youth required. Positions are full-time with full benefits.

Foster Parents 1
$1500 per month (plus paid respite care)

Foster home needed for a developmentally delayed 16-year-old girl with emotional and behavior problems. She has good self-care skills but needs nurturing, support and close supervision. Because of the special needs of our children and youth, we require that foster homes have no other children or youth living in the home. Foster parents must be able to work closely with other team members and one parent must be available during the day.

Foster Parents 2
$1500 per month (plus paid respite care)

Foster parents needed for treatment foster care program. We place one child per home and provide training, 24-hour support, and paid respite care. Our program combines foster care with special education, therapy, and skill development, all building on each child's strengths.
We are currently recruiting for two homes, one for a 14-year-old girl with special educational needs and one for a 12-year-old boy with behavior problems. These kids need consistency and structure as well as love and good parenting to help them with emotional, behavior, and learning problems.
Because of the special needs of our children and youth, we prefer that foster homes have no other children living in the home. Foster parents must be able to work closely with other team members and one parent must be available during the day.
